Bates (Sally) of Fairmont; his granddaughter Carrie Bates Onan (John Casey Onan) of Centerburg, OH; his great grandchildren, Mackynzie Elizabeth Marie Onan and Jonathan James Scott Onan; his sister Carol Sue Lowther of Owings; his nephews, Steve Hall and Mike Hall of Owings; his niece Melissa Hoops (J. R. Hoops) of Shinnston; and his stepchildren, Mike Snyder of Michigan, Jerry Snyder of Pennsylvania and Melissa Crawford of Ohio.
