He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Ice and Charlotte Starkey Ice; his wife Sheila Irene Stire Ice; his son Cary Ice; and his siblings, Herbert A. Ice (Jane), Elden Ice (Betty), Mildred Baker, Dean Duncan (William) and Thelma Jean Tennant (Toy).
He is survived by: his children, James Ice (Maxine) of Lumberport, Dawn Ovies (Anthony) of Mount Clare, Kris Wagner and Scott Swiger of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Todd Haddix (Darby) of Wallace, Adam Walker (Ally) of Bridgeport, Derek Walker (Matrasa) of Bridgeport, Kyle Wagner (Sarah) of Simpsonville, KY and Dr. Kassie Kime (Matt Kime) of Fairmont; his great grandchildren, Creed Haddix, Landen Walker, Hayden Walker, Camden Walker, Rowan Walker, Mayson Walker, Emory Haddix, Eva Kime and Kate Kime; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Baker of Florida, Henry and Margaret Stire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
