He is survived by: his daughter Nancy "Elaine" Johnson; his children-in-law, Rick Johnson of Huntersville, NC and Laurie Johnson of Woodstock, GA; his daughter Paulette Shaffer; his sons-in-law, Dan Shaffer of Bridgeport, WV and Todd Simmons of League City, TX; his grandchildren, Christopher Johnson, William Shaffer, Allie Simmons, Zach Simmons and Avery Simmons; his siblings, David Johnson (Judy) of Idamay, WV, Wanda Hickman (Sonny) of Mount Claire, WV and Patti Burge of Fairmont, WV; and also Ron Johnson (Debbie) of Shinnston, WV..
