He was predeceased by: his wife Debby Johnston Ledsome. He is survived by: his parent Lavonna Cartwright Ledsome of Fairmont; his close friend Diana Garrison; his children, Ashley Shaffer (Donald) of Bergoo, Darrell Ray Ledsome II (Kendra Baston) of Fairmont, Brittany Faulkiner (Richard) and Allison Leggett (Ronald) of Monongah; his grandchildren, Darrell Ray Ledsome III, Landon, Ben, Sara, Jordan, Alaina, Kayden and Levi; his great grandchildren, Cecilia, Spencer, Veronica, Alexis, Sean and Sidney; and his brothers, Donald Ledsome (Sue) of Fairmont, Dewey Ledsome (Ada) of Carolina and David Ledsome of Fairmont.
