He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschal Elsworth and Lula Blagg Cunningham; and his son Keith McDade. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Green Cunningham; his children, Kimberly Ferrise of Boothsville, William David McDade of Fairmont, Nina Josey of Hilton Head and Charles "Chuck" Cunningham, Jr. of Boothsville; his grandchildren, Nicole Metzger (Jake Sowers) of Hilton and Devon Maulberry of Fairmont; his great grandchildren, Cole, Tank, Maverick, Kyonna, Damion and Kaiya; and his siblings, Stella, Pearl, Ernie, Mike and Loy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
