He was predeceased by: his father Charles Layton. He is survived by: his mother Carnis Layton (Anderson); his wife Cathy Layton (Crites); his siblings, Earl Layton, Charles Layton and Bettie Sue Gillispie; and his aunt Ruth Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
