He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie C. Shaver and Eva Shaver (Davis); and his siblings, William Shaver, Charles Shaver, Kenny Ray Shaver and Martha Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva "Genia" Shaver (Rosinski); his sons, Dr. Joseph Shaver (Ann Shaver) of Fairmont, Rick Shaver (Debbie) of Monumental and Todd Allen Shaver (Pam May) of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Gavin Shaver and Shasta Nicole Shaver; his great grandchildren, Gezella Jones, Orion Long and Salem Kellar; his siblings, James Shaver and Carolyn Shaver; and also Odessa Carpenter (Billy Kellar) of Mannington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
