With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Joseph Hennessy Jr. of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 85. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret Mary Kirby and William Hennessy Sr.; his wife Sheila Overbaugh Hennessy; his grandchildren, Sean Mina (Deb Valenti), Hugo, Kathleen Christopher (Chris Garlock), Stephen (Kierstin), Lisa (Jay Small), Lt Rob Dau (Lt Sims Dau), Therese (Brandon Ajay), Nora Aaron (Kenneth Osowski), Kristen Logan (Matthew Pixler), Peyton and David NoraLuca (Anna Matijasic); and his siblings, Margaret Mary Hennessy (late Tony Alzamora), Jack Hennessy Marge McCauley, Jim Hennessy (Chris Tumasz) and Eileen Hennessy (Paul Janke). He was also cherished by his children.
