She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Merle Cornelius and Viola Watring Cornelius; her granddaughter Stephanie Bowers; and her siblings, Barbara Cornelius Sherman and W. Merle Cornelius, Jr. (Doris).
She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Rose Smith (Steven) of Shepherdstown, WV. and Ann Spurgas (Joseph) of Shepherdstown, WV.; and her grandchildren, Meg Patterson (Glenn) of Charles Town, WV and Sarah Cooper (Brian) of Shepherdstown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
