He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson and Ollie Jesse Butry Ferguson; and his siblings, Ima Jean, Judy, Jackie and Eloise.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Estelle Petway Ferguson; his children, Shane, Christopher Ferguson, Sandra Ferguson and Virginia DeBaugh; and his sister Ann Garland. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven, great grandchildren.
