He is survived by: his wife Barbara Marie Maddex; his children, Richard Jr. (Kim), Ronald, Maria of Ranson, Elizabeth Sigler (Ronnie), Amanda Lutman (Todd), Kathryn Slaven (Jeff) and Margaret Henderson (Patrick); his sister Florence Ann Brown-Best of Shenandoah Jct; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Cleaver of Shepherdstown and Rose Altieri of Purcellville, VA; and also Henry Byington Maddex, Sr.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
