He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Henson Staubs and Leona Belle Staubs; his siblings, Ellen Sterling Cole, Gloria Seal, Beulah Billman, Gilbert, Paul, Rowland, Donald, Vernon and Harold Staubs; his children, Rosemary Lorraine Staubs and Milford Lee Staubs; and his stepchildren, Sandra Faye Lightcap, Jennifer Kristine LaBelle, Mona Kay Spanos and Joseph Harlan VanCamp.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Beverly Gail Jackson, Rhonda Elaine Fetty, John Thomas Staubs (Robin), Raymond Milford Staubs, Jr., Christopher Ray Staubs and Ricky Lee Staubs, Sr. (Kim Hall); and his stepchildren, Diana Bailey, Jeanie VanCamp and Kenneth Lee VanCamp. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
