He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James and Marie Vaughn James. He is survived by: his wife Karen Vanzego-James; his children, Dionne Vanzego, Ezekiel Jefferson and Otis A. James; his grandchildren, Quanisha, Asia, Deja, Elijah, Amoni and Aniyah; his great grandchildren, Jalil Jr., Ethan, Eli, Emery and Luka; and his sister Ellen Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and loving friends.
