He is survived by: his daughter Abbie Darr; his grandson Hunter; his daughter Tammy Getts of Harpers Ferry; his siblings, Betty Fauble, Hazel Carter, Margaret Darr, Patricia Heffner, Nancy Shipe and Claude Raymond "Buss" Darr; his grandson John Armstrong, III; and also Oakley. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
