It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George M. Kalathas of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael N. Kalathas and Glekeria Kanelos Kalathas; his wife Lambriny Lainas Kalathas; his son Demetrios "Jimmy" Kalathas; and his siblings, Nicholaos Kalathas and Maria Pettas.
He is survived by: his children, Michael G. Kalathas (Brittany) of Chambersburg, PA, Nicholaos G. Kalathas (Larae) of Chambersburg, PA and Christina Kalathas of Shippensburg, PA; his grandchildren, Odessa, Jace, Niko, Dexter, Lambriny and Abby Kalathas; and his brothers, Charle Kalathas (Alex) of Chambersburg, PA, Tom Kalathas (Demetra) of Chambersburg, PA, John Kalathas (Helen) of Chambersburg, PA and Tony Kalathas (Bonnie) of St. Thomas, PA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
