We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2021, at the age of 66, Christopher Sax Smith of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Dare; his daughter Nicola; his grandchildren, Jackson Robert Smith and Holston Christopher Smith; and his siblings, Joellen Duckworth (Jim) of Columbus, Stephen Smith (Rebecca) of Miami, Beverly Brendle of Pittsburgh, Virginia Capocci (Joe) of Columbus, Alan Smith (Anne) of Raleigh and Maggie Lynch (Greg Gutt) of Northern Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
In lieu of a service, the family asks that donations may be made in Christipher's name to Hospice of the Eastern Panhandle and St. Agnes Church in Shepherdstown.
