He is survived by: his wife Pama LaFon Poindexter; his children, David Poindexter (Amy) of South Carolina, Johnna Poindexter of Washington, Megan Stone (Scott) of Maryland and Korrin Danko of Shenandoah Junction; his grandchildren, Camille, Becket Poindexter, Taylor Michener and Harbor Stone; his great grandchild Leo Poindexter; his siblings, Mary Williams (Steve) of Huntington, WV, Metta Poindexter of Huntington, WV and Jeanie Bartlett (Bill) of Huntington, WV; his nieces, Nikki Reed (Ronald) and Laura Urban; and his aunt Sally Davis.
