He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce G. Shell and Annie See Shell. He is survived by: his wife Norma L. Ganoe Shell; his children, Jeffrey Shell (Christy) of Augusta, WV, Tammy Cowgill (Doug) of Romney, WV and Pam Martin (Harvey) of Shanks, WV; his siblings, Elbert Shell of Baker, WV, Ronald Gene Shell of Weyers Cave, VA and Edith McDonaldson of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Brandon Martin, Katie Martin, Allison Cowgill and Hannah Shell.
