He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred A. White and Pearl Osborne White; his wife Phyllis A. Thompson; his daughter Nancy R. White; his siblings, Howard White and Velma White Griffith; and his grandson Douglas O. Shrewsbury Jr.. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
