He is survived by: his children, Jan Sweatt (Ross Webb) of Shady Spring, WV, Michael Jernigan of Bim, WV and Thomas Jernigan (Wanda) of Bim, WV; and his siblings, Linda Gail Ellis (Denny) of Atlanta, GA, Robert Jernigan (Mary) of Valdosta, GA and Charles Jernigan (Vickie) of Valdosta, GA.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, four step children, nine great grandchildren, and eight step grandchildren.
