He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Lloyd and Nannie O'Dell Heitt Aldridge; his son James Lloyd Aldridge; and his siblings, Silas Lloyd Aldridge, Jr., Robert "Bobby" Aldridge, Effie Nelle Pierce, Velma Jeanette Peters, Joyce Ann Pearson, Reba Drucilla Trapp and Frances Charmaine Williams.
He is survived by: his daughter Wanelle Ortiz of Beckley, WV; his granddaughter Toni Marie Ortiz (Matt Brannen) of Beckley, WV; his siblings, Winton Gene Aldridge of Cohutta, GA, Stanley Wayne Aldridge (Faye) of Tunnel Hill, GA and Marion Shana Wright (Jim) of Dalton, GA; and his grandparent Madison Walker of Morgantown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
