She was predeceased by: her daughter Melanie Caponiti; her parents, Obert Olaf and Lona Delores Whitt (Jesse Walker); her sister Judith Carol Robertson; and her friend Sue Lilly.
She is survived by: her children, Montaree Caponiti of Pawleys Island, SC, John Caponiti (Tammy) of Shady Spring, WV, Mitzi Richmond (Wayne) of Crow, WV and Ronnie Johns (Colleen) of Redford, MI.; her grandchildren, John Christopher Caponiti (April), Derek Richmond, Megan Gray (Quinn), Morgan Terry (Adam) and Madison Johns; her great grandchildren, Hallie Caponiti and Lorraine Terry; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Johns. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
