Roy Edward Hurst Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2022, at the age of 78, Roy Edward Hurst of Shady Spring, West Virginia, born in Lundale, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward Hurst, Sr. and Pauline Hurst (Blankenship); and his son Jeffrey Scott Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Alice Vance; his sister Jean Wintz; his daughters, Rhonda Lo Presti (Michael) and Lori Tyburski (Christopher); his granddaughter Kari Scruggs (James); his daughters, Jessica Olson (Alex), Alexa and Sofia Lo Presti; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Parker Scruggs; and his grandchildren, Avreigh and Everleigh Olson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Instead of flowers, the family would be honored with donations in memory of Roy to the American Cancer Society.
