It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert N. Crotty of Shady Spring, West Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Crotty and Freda Crotty; his brother-in-law David Lilly; his nephew Justin Lilly; and his sister-in-law Myrna (Bill Painter).
He is survived by: his daughter Kara Crotty Riffe; his son-in-law Jon Riffe of Daniels; his grandsons, Jared Riffe of Beaver, WV and Ryan Riffe of Fairmont, WV; and his sister Barbara Crotty Lilly of Daniels.
Robert was an active member of Shady Spring First Baptist Church for more than 40 years prior to COVID where he served in many capacities.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his honor can be sent to Bowers Hospice House or the Future Farmers of America at Shady Spring High School.
