She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Griffith and Odetta Phillips Griffith; and her siblings, Chester, Carl, Thomas, James, Samuel Griffith, Laura Mallam and Linda Cooper.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Lester of Shady Spring; her children, Jennifer Matherly (Gary "Tony") of Glen Morgan and J. D. Lester (Andrea) of Midlothian, VA; her siblings, Armond Joseph Griffith (Ivette) of Palm Bay and Janice Lee of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Garret Matherly, Emma Matherly, Madison Lester and Isaac Lester.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry (729 Flat Top Rd, Shady Spring, WV 25918). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Bowers Hospice House, Hospice of Southern WV.
