She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Howard and Bertha Johnson Howard. She is survived by: her husband Bishop George H. Garner; her daughters, Connie Gant (George A.) and Sally Smith (James); and her sister Stella Richards of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by Five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
