He was predeceased by: his brother Harmon Lushbaugh. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lushbaugh; his sister Kay Craig; his children, Michael Lushbaugh and Cynthia Foy (Richard); and his grandchildren, Steven Foy (Catherine) and Melissa Dale (Nels). He is also survived by 4 greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Melton Mortuary Chapel (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park (1925 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801).
