He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Etta Boise and John Hurt (Tubby); his grandmother Alice Ann; and his daughters, Amanda Hurt and Ashley Toler (Hurt).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hurt (Workman) of Shady Spring, WV; his daughter Amber Workman of Marshallville; his grandchildren, Steven Workman (Sydney) of Cool Ridge, WV and Sylvia Pickens (Elijah) of Shady Spring, WV.; his daughter Sarah Bailey (Bryan) of Orrville, OH.; his son-in-law Jeremy Toler (Harmony) of Rincon, GA.; his grandchildren, Elijah Toler, John Toler (Abe), Jaycee, Seth, Lukas and Marshall Bailey of Orrville, OH; his great grandchildren, Jameson, Wesley Pickens of Shady Spring, WV and Waylon Workman of Cool Ridge, WV.; and also Maddox King of Rincon, GA.
