It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Glenn Whitlock of Shady Spring, West Virginia, born in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rakes and Elizabeth Mann Rakes. He is survived by: his children, Glenn Whitlock (Kim) of Holden Beach, NC, Wendy Smith (Dave) of LaPort, TX and Justin Whitlock (Amber) of Christiansburg, VA; his partner's daughter Sabrina; his son-in-law Dave; and his siblings, Patty Vest of White Oak, Larry Whitlock (Sherri) of Shady Spring, Sharon Crook (Rita Farley) of Shady Spring and Joey Rakes of Shady Spring. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
