It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Marie Bennett of Shady Spring, West Virginia, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton O'Neal and Octavia O'Neal; and her siblings, Hazel Edwards, Ethel Arthur and Marcus O'Neal.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Bennett; her children, Darlene Lester of Daniels, Mary Rock of Sophia and Jimmy Bennett II of Shady Spring; and her siblings, Liz Gardner (Harley) of Beckley, Patty Jones of Beckley, Joyce Hornsby of Shady Spring and Eddie O'Neal of Rupert. She is also survived by four grandsons, two granddaughters, two great grandsons, and two great granddaughters.
