He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lamb and Colleen Lamb; and his son John Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Leanna Lamb (Brogan); his sister Linda Scott (Randy); his niece Sally Ratcliff; his nephew Steven Scott (Doug); his parents-in-law, William and Pauline Brogan; and his sisters-in-law, Tamaria Hines and Terri VanderWijst.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Daniels Missionary Baptist Church at P.O. Box 427, Daniels, WV 25832 in memory of Douglas Lamb.
