With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Bennett (Shady Spring, West Virginia), who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Edward Plumley and Dora Francis Kincaid Plumley; her husband John Bennett; her siblings, Rosie Plumley, Doleta Plumley (Tootsie), Geraldine Plumley, Denvil Plumley and Clinton Plumley; and her son Stevie Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Lenzie Bennett (Juanita), Lonnie Bennett (Carolyn), Dora Ballengee (Jimmy) and Kim Plumley (Ronnie); and her siblings, Anna Pearl Plumley, Maxine Adkins, Mervil Plumley and Ernie Plumley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
