It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Clay Bennett (Shady Spring, West Virginia), born in Oak Hill, West Virginia, who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Clay and Lesta Craigo Clay; her husband Rev. Bill Bennett; and her siblings, Steve Clay and Vicki Clay Bolen.
She is survived by: her sons, Robbie Bennett (Beverly) of Beaver and Jeff Bennett of Ashland City, TN; her siblings, Loren Clay of Tennessee, Frank Clay (Debbie) of Stanaford and Ruth Clay Woolard (Don) of Des Allemands, LA; her grandchildren, Jaxon Bennett of Beaver, Boden Bennett of Beaver and Chesney Bennett of Beaver; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Treadway (Tim) of Prosperity, Blaine Bennett (Nancy) of Lewisburg, Mike Bolen of Beckley and Kay Clay of Oak Hill; her pet Daisy Mae; and her close friends, Bonnie Marshall, Barbara Burkhart and Carol. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
