She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Simpson and Fallie Mae Simpson (Whitt); her children, Vickie, Sue Cox and Jeffrey Allen Cox; and her close friend Joe Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Lacy G. Cox, Jr., Steven Dewayne Cox and Pamela G. Cox Reed; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Cox. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several siblings.
