She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hylton and Ada Pearl Basham Hylton; her husband Carl Edward Blackwell; her son Carl Edward Blackwell Jr.; her parents-in-law, Sidney Claude Blackwell and Woodie Crigger Blackwell; her siblings, Virginia Mae Bowling, Willie Faye Farley, Clydia Pearl Luttrell, Macie Murrel Bell, Herman Cleveland Hylton, Isaac Edward Hylton and Herschel Ray Hylton; and her pets, Baby and Feline Stinker.
She is survived by: her children, Claude Allen "Spunky" Blackwell (Karen) of Shady Spring, Mary "Susie" Irene Ayers (Bill) of Ghent and Nancy Pearl Dobbins of Bono; her grandchildren, Carrie Blackwell Ayers (Philip) of Glen Daniel, James Green (Mendy) of Montgomery, Carlos Blackwell of Beckley, Joseph Green of Texas, Sean Dobbins (Dana) of Cabot and Mark Dobbins (Ashley) of Bono, Arkansas; her great grandchildren, Caleb Green of Corpus Christi, Dylan Ayers of Glen Daniel and Maisie Pearl Dobbins of Cabot, Arkansas.; her daughter Vonda (Daniel); her grandchildren, Braxton and Jessa'Lynn; and her siblings, Grace Kidd of Beckley, Henry Hylton Jr. of Beckley, Douglas MacArthur Hylton (Norma) of Coal City and Lewis Jackson Hylton (Martha) of Cool Ridge. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
