He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Speed, Helen Harless, Azel and Sis Smith; and his father Joseph "Joey" Wayne Harless.

He is survived by: his son Aden Wayne Smith; his mother Rebecca "Beck Beck" Smith; his sister Victoria Smith; and his half-sister April Holtsclaw. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
