He was predeceased by: his son Mark Allen Guthrie; his parents, Ray Henry and Nola Davenport Guthrie; and his siblings, Ronald L., Elmer Lawrence Guthrie and Alice Faye Guthrie.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Kay Richards Guthrie; his sons, Jamie Ray Guthrie of Seth and Jeremy Lee Guthrie (Angie) of Seth; his siblings, Eddie Jerome Guthrie (Lois) of Orgas, Edna Mae Midkiff of Bloomingrose and Virginia Brennan of Maryland; and his grandson Jordan Mark Guthrie. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
