Though Susan Carol may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Susan Carol touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Perdue and Mary Perdue (Austin). She is survived by: her husband Charles Steele Bracken III; her children, Julia Bracken Ciliberti and Charles Bracken IV; and her grandchildren, Alex, Bella, Quinn and Harper.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
