He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sovine and Anna Sovine (Black); his wife Wanda Sue Sovine (Ball); his siblings, Denzil Sovine and Dorothy Sovine Whitt; and his stepson James Lee.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Forren (Jerry); his stepdaughters, Teresa Vickers (Dale), Tina Boster (Perry) and Lorrie DuPree (Johnnie); and his sister Leona Vickers. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
