It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Roscoe Bird of Scott Depot, West Virginia, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Siebert and Dorris Dawson Bird; and his siblings, Jack, Jerry Bird and Jackie Cottle.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Lou Bird; and his children, Lora Bird Boggs (Tim Boggs) and Brian Andrew Bird (Paula Coleman). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Teays Valley Church of God (185 Connection Pt, Scott Depot, WV 25560).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Teays Valley Church of God Building Fund in honor of Leonard.
