He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shank and Eva Shank; his wife Rosemary Shank; his daughter Pamela Rauanheimo; and his siblings, Hope Warner, Anna Laura Crowder, Mary Lou Olsen and Rev. James O. Shank, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Michael Shank (Nancy) of Hurricane and Stephanie Morris (Jeff) of Winfield; and his sister Vivian McDonald of Waterloo, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hurricane First Church of the Nazarene (358 US-60, Culloden, WV 25510). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
