He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Bethel Sanders and Dollie Mae Wilcox Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Donna Louise Jones Sanders; his daughter Melanie Sanders Coffey (James "PJ"); his granddaughter Katelyn Grace (Fort); his sister Betty Mae Spence of Jacksonville, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Jones (Mary Lou) and Judy Steele (Keith). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
