He is survived by: his wife Nancy Eads Brown; his daughters, Tracy Renee Farmer, Tamera Lynn Brown-Legg (Chris) of Hurricane, WV, Tiffany Marie Brown-Buettner of Greensboro, NC and Tara Dale Simpkins (James) of Hometown, WV; his grandchildren, Megan, Josh, Emma Farmer, Michael Todd Lovejoy II, Tabitha Weddington, Corbin, Colin Dale, Chloe Buettner and Dakota Simpkins; and his siblings, Darrell Brown and Doris Mitchell. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
