With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Joan Cole of Scott Depot, West Virginia, who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold R. Jeffries and Katherine Bernice Burdette; her stepbrothers, Michael Winter and Rick Winter; her half-brother John Jeffries; and her sister-in-law Mary Cross.
She is survived by: her husband James F. Cole, Jr.; her daughters, Stephanie Cole, Kimberly DeSoto (Brian) and Korri Powers (Ryan); her grandchildren, Charlotte DeSoto, Aidan DeSoto and Rosie DeSoto; her sister Barbara Steele (Kermit); her stepsiblings, Curtis Winter, David Winter and Wink Fontalbert; her half-siblings, Allen Jeffries, Robert Jeffries, Steve Jeffries, Karen Hall, Shirley Liptrap and Mary Tucker; her siblings-in-law, Hershel and Lynn Facemyre; and her nieces and nephews, Wendy Hatfield, Julie Cross, Jessica Jeffries, Robert Steele (Carrie), David Facemyre (Nicole) and Scott Facemyre (Vicky).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to HospiceCare, Charleston, WV, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Little Victories Animal Rescue, Ona, WV, and/or Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Charleston, WV.
