She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard E. Comer and Lula C. Comer of Lindside, WV.; her brother Comer, Jr.; her sister-in-law Pauline R. Comer; and her husband Charles L. "Coonie" Spangler.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Howard "Sarge" Spangler of Scott Depot, WV and Lucinda Jean "Cindy" Spangler Adkins of Washington, DC; her grandchildren, Jeanie Catherine Adkins, Maggie, Jeff of Annapolis, MD, Michael Luck Spangler of Frazier's Bottom, WV, Kelley Ann Spangler of Scott Depot, WV and Van of Scott Depot; her great-nephews, James Griffin (Laura) and Christopher Anderson (Kathryn); her great-niece Catherine Griffin of Chapel Hill, NC; her cousins, Phyllis, Denny Ferguson of Peterstown, WV and Angie Ferguson Graham of Narrows, VA.; and also, Eddie Adkins of Annapolis, MD, Valerie Spangler Green, Ann Griffin (Patrick), Kay Comer (Mike Donovan), Lea Anderson of Burke, VA and Howard E. Comer, III (Lori).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peterstown Food Bank at Peterstown Methodist Church or Hubbard Hospice House West of South Charleston.
