She was predeceased by: her parents, James Montgomery, Jr. and Gladys Amick Montgomery; and her brothers, Jack "Squirrel" E. Montgomery and Rodney Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Jon Montgomery and Sara Tucker (Jimmy); her significant other Jack Montgomery; her close friend Terri McNeely-Redden; her nieces, Allison Denton and Colleen Leonard; and her nephew Jonathan Toney.
