He is survived by: his siblings, Flora Marie, Paul Edward Thorne, Margie, Thelma Jean and Thomas B. Thorne; his wife Clara Humphrey Thorne; his sons, Johnny "JJ" Thorne, II (Heather Roberts) and Scott Thorne (Holly Vance); his siblings, Margaret J. Rice, Arthur L. Thorne, Jimmy R. Thorne, Sr., Frances K. Rice and Raymond L. Thorne; and his grandchildren, Matthew Roberts, Connor Roberts, Kallee Thorne, Kaylee Thorne and Rhylynn Thorne.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Tyree Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
