Jaqueline Estep Obituary
SCARBRO — Jaqueline Parker Estep, 84, of Scarbro, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley following an extended illness. Born on January 3, 1931 in English, W.Va. and was the daughter of the late Francis Parker and Rachael Hall Likens. Jaqueline was a homemaker and enjoyed going to church.
She always sent greeting cards to her friends, family, and church family and never missed a birthday or anniversary. Those who received cards from her knew they can set their date for a greeting card from her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Estep; infant son, Steven Estep; brothers, Earl Jr., and Billy; and sisters, Edna Hedge and Edith Perkins.
Those left to carry on her legacy include her son, Bill Estep and wife Cathy of Gloucester, Va.; daughters, Shirley Crisp and husband Cliff of Newport News, Va., Deborah Cooper and husband Randy of Webster Springs, Sharon Tuttle and husband David of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Janice Roberts and husband Roger of Concord, N.C. and Vada Ruth Gill and husband Ray of Southpoint, Ohio; a granddaughter, Bobbie Evans of O'Fallon, Ill.; grandsons, Ron Estep and wife Connie of Newport News, Va., Sean Estep of Columbus, Ohio, and Travis Cooper of Webster Springs; great grandsons, Nicholas Estep of Newport News, Va., and Wyatt Estep of Columbus, Ohio; special friends, Linda and Roger Hancock and family; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill, with Rev. Patrick Bowling officiating. Interment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park also in Oak Hill. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin from 1 p.m. and last until the time of the services on Sunday.
