He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Fitzgerald; his grandsons, Luther Fitzgerald-Temple of Eccles, WV and Michael P. Hale of Saxon; his siblings, Melvin Fitzgerald of Roanoke, VA, Anthony Fitzgerald of Roanoke, VA and Jean Heatwole of Staunton, VA; and his sister-in-law Doris Fitzgerald of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
