He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Leona Maddox Elliott and John Walter Shriver; his grandson Tyler King; his grandmothers, Holly A. Maddox (Hod) and Lucille D. Maddox; and his uncle Clellie Maddox.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Ott (Charles), Jeremy Shriver (Mindy) and Holly King (Kevin); his grandchildren, Zachary Shriver, Brandon Pauley, Jared Austin Angus, Olivia Shriver, Nicholas Weekley, Colton King, Kaycee King, Lane Southall and Cora Ott; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Mia, Ellie, Daxton, Rylee, Kelsey, Jase, Christopher and Baby J; his siblings, Shawn Michael Shriver (Sheri), Victor Darren Shriver, Daniel Wayne Shriver, Pamela Elliott and Joni Redman (Jim); and the mother of his children Patricia Gentry Shriver.
